On Wednesday night @ the Pavilion Downtown, GAP showcased their latest A/W collection with fur jackets and boots. It’s crazy how half the world is preparing for winter, while in Dubai we’re ready to finally hit the beaches after such an intense summer of 50 degrees C !
The makeup was so easy representing casual chic and a great look to wear during the day.
Backstage makeup for GAP
To Prep the skin I used Laura Mercier‘s Foundation Primer, and Benefit’s Porefessional.
To sculpt the skin, I used skinbase foundations from Illasmasqua and Smashbox HD foundations to give them that sheer natural finish. NARS shimmer stick in Copacabana was used just on top of the cheekbones to give a ‘facelift’ effect.
For the brows, BrowZings from Benefit was used in #2.
The eyes were kept simple using NARS duo palette in Babylon. The peach shade was used all over the eyelids, and the darker purple shade was used around the crease and underneath the eye to create a soft smoky feel without being too dark.
Pale yellow eye pencil from M.A.C was used at the inner rims to open the eyes up.
The cheeks were kept fresh and soft using M.A.C blush in Coygirl and M.A.C mineralize blush in Subtle
For the lips, I just wanted them to have a natural pop of color, so I mixed vaseline with Freckletone Lipstick from M.A.C and NYX‘s Strawberry Milk together.
To set the skin without making it too cakey or matte, Makeup Forever‘s HD translucent powder was brushed just on the T-zone section of the face.
There you have it. Very simple and easy to do makeup look, and you’ll look like you’ve just walked out of the runway!
